If being in the second round of the NHL playoffs wasn’t exciting enough, the Dallas Stars will face an old, bitter adversary.
It happened! As you may recall, I said last month in the Dallas Observer that we are seeing something exceedingly rare in the DFW sports environment. The Dallas Mavericks of the NBA and the Dallas Stars of the NHL have advanced beyond the first round of the playoffs in the same season for the first time since 2003. Needless to say, we should anticipate many more weeks of hot playoff drama.

And, once again, we’ll get just that when the Stars face the Colorado Avalanche in a seven-game series starting Tuesday night. Specifically, the dreaded Colorado Avalanche. 1310 Tickets Matt McClearin
