The next-generation update for Fallout 4 is currently being rolled out.
The highly awaited next-generation update for Fallout 4 is now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Additionally, an update has been released for the PC version of Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic open-world role-playing fantasy game.
Based on preliminary reports, the new native version of Fallout 4 (1.000.001) on the PlayStation 5 is estimated to weigh in at 56.503 gigabytes.
During the time that Bethesda is working to install the upgrade, the company has stated in a tweet that access to the Mods Menu and/or Creation Club is now disabled. The aforementioned features were not accessible at the time when this article was being published.
Among the features that are included in the next-generation upgrade are native applications for the consoles, options for both the Performance mode and the Quality mode, and improvements and fixes for stability. This indicates that the game will be playable in a resolution that is twice as high and at a frame rate of up to sixty frames per second.
In other news, Fallout 4 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will receive a free update that will include fixes for login and quest issues, as well as enhancements to the game’s stability. And last but not least, a free update for the PC version of Fallout 4 includes support for widescreen and ultra-widescreen displays, as well as patches for the Creation Kit and modifications to a variety of quests.
Support for stability, mods, and bug fixes will be made available to players who have purchased the PC versions of Fallout 4 from Steam, the Microsoft Store, or GOG. Additionally, Fallout 4 will be available for purchase on the Epic Games Store, and it will be validated by Steam Deck.
