Adrian Newey, a pioneering engineer and Chief Technical Officer at Red Bull, is scheduled to leave the company in the first quarter of 2025, according to a statement released by the team on Wednesday.
His championship-winning car designs have to this day delivered seven Formula One Drivers’ Championship titles and six Constructors’ Championship titles, for a total of 118 victories and 101 pole positions, including the STR 2008 pole position and victory. Newey, who is widely regarded as the greatest designer in the history of the sport, joined Red Bull in 2006.
Before joining Red Bull, the 65-year-old driver had successful stints with Williams and McLaren.
